Freedom Chapel Dinner Theatre is an attraction in Lancaster County that showcases original plays and well-known Broadway hits. Also, close to Freedom Chapel are Lancaster's historic museums, Central Market, the Academy of Music, and the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design.

Lancaster’s Fulton Opera House is the oldest continuously performing theater house in the United States. City Folk on Gallery Row is a gallery located on in the heart of Lancaster's Arts District. The City of Lancaster is also the home to the new Lancaster Quilt and Textile Museum.
